In 2002 Roger sold his property management company (Cuatro Properties) and closed down his general contracting and development company (CuatroConstruction, Development and Consulting Inc.). His real estate holding company (Cuatro Holdings LLC) remains in business and is the entity he uses to purchase several apartment complexes in San Diego County. From 2002-2003, he spent most of his time managing the partnerships and the real estate assets generated through the holding company.
In 2004 he formed RTD Consulting LLC, which is a construction management and development consulting business. Most of his work with this entity involves representing owners in managing the new construction and renovation of apartment and condominium complexes. His role as Construction Manager for these projects typically includes: property assessment, developing a written scope of work, managing the architect, engineer and all consultants along with the General Contractor, running weekly project meetings, coordinating the draw process with the lenders and representing the owner from the start of construction through project completion.
